About Last Charge
Last Charge is a deckbuilding roguelike where you navigate a grid-based world to defend the last human Citadel against machine threats. During each turn, you manage your limited Amps to either play cards for immediate effects or charge them to permanently increase their power for the remainder of the fight. You must carefully balance your deck strength against the rising Trace level, which summons dangerous Sentinels if you become too greedy. The game features clear combat information, allowing you to see enemy intentions and route risks before making decisions. This project was created using AI tools for the AI Browser Game Jam 4. It offers a strategic experience for players who enjoy tactical planning and risk management. Sessions are designed for quick, intense runs, and the game is fully playable in a web browser on both desktop and mobile devices.
