Vibe Jam — the vibe coding game jam
The yearly game jam where the AI writes the code.
The Vibe Jam is a yearly game jam organized by indie maker Pieter Levels (@levelsio) where every entry must be mostly coded by AI. It became the biggest showcase of vibe coded games and the source of many of the games on this list.
The rules
- At least 90% of the code written by AI (current rules).
- Free to play, in the web browser, with no login and no long loading screens.
- Any AI tool is allowed — Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Grok and more.
Editions
The first edition, in 2025 (sponsored by Bolt), received more than 1,000 games; the gold-winning entry, a GTA-style taxi game, took a $10,000 prize. The 2026 edition (sponsored by Cursor) received more than 900 games. Many entries are still online years later — and the best of them are listed here with the tools and engine used.
What wins a Vibe Jam?
Winners tend to share the same things: they load instantly, you understand the goal in seconds, they look distinctive, and many are multiplayer. Browse the best vibe coded games and racing or shooter games to see the style.
