About Playmatter
Playmatter is a 2D sandbox game focused on ragdoll physics and creative experimentation. You can spawn various creatures, weapons, vehicles, and machines onto a map to build structures or test different forms of destruction. The game allows you to interact with ragdoll characters by dragging, throwing, or using tools to cut, burn, and shoot them. You can also wire machines together to create complex contraptions or use the built-in support for mods to expand your experience. This project was developed using Claude to handle the underlying code.
This title is ideal for players who enjoy physics-based simulations and open-ended creative freedom. Sessions can be as short or as long as you like, depending on how much time you spend building or testing scenarios. It is currently in development for Windows and Linux, with some versions playable in a web browser.
